Time-in

Our time-in has been a pilot project since January 2020. It is a low-threshold, teaching-oriented placement offer. The School Island is a reflection centre that offers relief and space for reassurance in difficult teaching situations when trouble-free learning in the class by fellow learners is made more difficult or no longer possible due to their behavior.

With short stays of one to several lessons, a 1/2 day or temporary, regular stays of up to 3weeks, students on The School Island can reflect on their behavior and are accompanied in the development of solutions.  In addition, they are supervised by a teacher in their further work on the subject matter.

The aim of this measure is to develop a profitable solution for all parties involved and to enable rapid reintegration into the mainstream class
