Extracurricular offers
The municipality of Buchrain and the canton of Lucerne offer various offers for pupils.
Music school Rontal
The Rontal Music School provides children, young people and adults with a sound musical education. Singing and making music together should be offered in a motivating framework by the municipalities and music schools.
Singing and making music encourages children and young people to develop their personality, perceptiveness and social skills. In addition to personal skills, the music school also prepares children and young people for participation in public musical life and for helping to shape musical culture within the communities. It contributes to shape public musical life. The cooperation with the local schools is also fostered. Music school lessons generally take place in the community where the students live.
In order to fulfil these joint tasks and achieve the objectives, the municipalities have defined the organization in the municipal contract. The contract defines the Rontal Music School Commission, the sponsoring municipality of Ebikon and the music school management as the governing bodies.
